Summary: I use this monopod for low light, wildlife, and sports photography with my Nikon D40x. I also use it to gain a different perspective. You can hold it up above your head and trigger the shutter with a wireless remote to take photos above a crowd. It is great for when I don't want or need a tripod but still need to control a long lens or use a longer shutter speed. I like the snap lock style leg adjustment, the light weight, and the foam grip at the top.
Summary: For the price it would be hard to beat this monopod. I got this monopod for my son in college. At first I was not sure if it would work for his D200 with 80-200 2.8 lens. He has used it a the Baseball game and he loves it along with his classmates. Tripod is strong for the size.
Pros: Easily Adjusted, Lightweight, Locks In Tight
