  • Excerpt: For the low price this is a perfect grab-and-go support and is as solid as any one twice it's weight.<br />Plus I like it as a mic boom pole or for a GOpro support pole. Fast setup too!

Very light and easy to carry

  • Excerpt: I use it for Behind-the-scene shoot with DSLRs... Very light and easy to use... Only thing to consider is to add a quick release plate, but if you are alway on the go...no worries. With Full extension, it will slightly bend, if you have long heavy len attached.

  • Excerpt: Exactly as advertised: a solid but lightweight monopod. Very sturdy, but I'm only using it with an Olympus E PL3. Expands (for me) to perfect height. No complaints.

  • Excerpt: used this monopod while shooting [*] football games in a row one day and it really saved my back and arms! it supported 6lbs telephoto lens plus my camera just fine. Was concerned at first, for the price would it hold the weight? but it really didn't seem to be an issue.

Fair monopod For the price

Jphotog, B&H Photo
28 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Monopod is light and the grip is solid, should buy with attachable ballhead. When almost/completely fully extended, monopod tends to bend if moderate amount of force is applied.
  • Pros: Light, Lightweight, Opens Quickly
  • Cons: Bends when fully extended

  • Excerpt: This monopod is fairly well built and is quick and easy to deploy. Extensions can sometimes deploy to easily but it's quick to correct. Super light weight. I use this as an extension "arm" for a soft box.
