Prosumer's Dream

Trout God, B&H Photo
20 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I use this chiefly in event photograph. Best aspect is that it is lightweight and collapses in a compact manner. For my tall stature it would be better if the operating height was another few inches taller at its full extension. Considering using it for wating when I flyfish for steelhead.

Great Monopod

Mike, B&H Photo
17 February 2015
  • Excerpt: I use monpods a lot as they allow me to slow down the shutter speed in low light situations and still be very mobile. The MM294A4 is light but surprisingly stable. I have five different monpods but this is the one I always take when traveling.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable

  • Excerpt: Have been looking around for a monopod for quite some time. Researched quite a few and landed on this one. The MM294a4 is solidly built and is extremely easy to operate. The thumb flip leg locks are great for adapting to various scenarios in the field.

Great Height and Versatile.

Rodney N, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I bought this monopod for a quick carry along and filming sporting events. My son is in band and this allows me to hold camera steady for filming at the football stadium during shows. Probably use this much more than my full sized tripod. I am 6'2", and the height is good to stand with camera.
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Adjusted, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
