Great Product!

  • Excerpt: This is a very good, great quality product. I recently bought this to go with my 190X legs. It's very sturdy and I enjoy all the nobs to control the angles. A good bang for your buck! But be careful removing your camera from the top!
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fits Well, Improves Tripod Function, Solid/Sturdy
  • Cons: Bulky

Just what I had hoped it would be!

  • Excerpt: I had been used to an OLD Davidson tripod with similar control; when I got the Manfrotto head I felt immediately comfortable with it. It is smooth, and the knobs/handles/controls are where I expect them to be. No learning curve, and it works very well with my Manfrotto tripod.

Works great.

  • Excerpt: I've used it once so far and it didn't move when I positioned sideways or on an angle or vertical pointing to the sky. I was using a Nikon D90, vertical grip & 80-200 2.8 lens. I moved, tightened and it stayed exactly where I wanted it to be.

Manfrotto 804RC2 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head

  • Excerpt: This head complements my Manfrotto tripod perfectly. It works so much better for landscape photography, panoramas and shots of a full moon in the wee hours of the night than my existing ball head. This Manfrotto 804RC2 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head feels very study and all movements are fluid and precise.

  • Excerpt: You pay for what you get. High quality product as you would expect from a quality brand. Heavy and bulky for heavy tripods only. We use this for wall-mounting large video cameras for motion capture.

Great 3 way quick release head

Crash, B&H Photo
6 October 2014
  • Excerpt: I love this 3 way pan/tilt head! I like to do long exposures in the blue hour and landscape photography and this head is very adjustable and stable. Once you tighten down the adjustments, the camera stays put. The only con is that it's a little bulky.

3-Thumbs Up

  • Excerpt: I use this tilt head on my monopod, tripod, as well as my Konova slider. The extra large knobs make it really quick and easy to tighen and untighten. I also like the light weight compared to my other ball heads.
