Does the Job

Jack, B&H Photo
10 February 2015
  • Excerpt: I bought this tripod to accompany my induro tripod and D3300 Nikon. It fit the base of the Nikon, and mounted very securely. It also mounted onto the tripod very well. It is sturdy and well built. My major complaints however are the knobs to secure the movements of the head.

Muito precisa

  • Excerpt: I liked the head, but I think one of the other format (ball) would serve me better. This has a very good accuracy and support heavy camera, but no adjustment as fast as balls.
  • Pros: Solid/Sturdy
  • Cons: Heavy, Poor Design

Not fit for full frame bodies

Arun, B&H Photo
14 August 2011
  • Excerpt: This tripod suits well for smaller bodies (APS-C) but totally unfit for full frame bodies with heavy lenses. Design of quick release plate is not great. Always have a feel that camera may slip out of head.
  • Pros: Easy To Use

  • Summary: Not impressed:the major drawback IMO being its lack of smoothness, which makes small adjustments very tricky,it will either not budge or move too much, this is really annoying me.
  • Pros: Lightweight,nice looking,good ergonomics,relatively cheap (73€ on ebay)
  • Cons: Build quality:not smooth, has a lot of friction, tends to stick in position

  • Pros: Fits Well, Improves Tripod Function, Solid/Sturdy
  • Cons: Heavy, Not so easy to use
