  • Excerpt: I know it's not entirely fair to review a product like this, but I'm pretty upset. When I pay for a new item, I expect a new item. Both my the tripod legs (190XPROB), and this head arrived previously used. The head was partially assembled, and the tripod was dirty!

OK but not stable

MDteX, B&H Photo
19 October 2009
  • Excerpt: I really wanted this to work with my Bogen Neotec tripod. The problem is the plate does not fit securely in the head. There is movement in all directions. The whole purpose of this is to be stable and secure. I'm too worried about putting my camera on this head that I'm returning it.
  • Cons: Poor Design

Not a fan of the new material

Reviews by Aaron, B&H Photo
23 January 2008
  • Excerpt: I wanted a lightweight head for nature work. My the lens and body I used with the head was less than the weight limitations stated, but the head still flexed--in fact it flexes very easily and a lot. I am not impressed with this new material and will be looking for only metal alloys from now on.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Dramatic head flex, Poor constructio material, Unstable, Weak Construction

  • Conclusion: Tänkte igentligen lämna det tillbaka, men tiden gick ....Suck!
