Summary: I was delighted with this camera support as I took pictures in the Muir Woods until one of the little rods popped out when I was standing on a bridge and disappeared. This was the first time I had used modopocket camera support so I was very disappointed. I was more disappointed that the company had made/sold it didn't back up their product. I had gotten it for a present so did not have a receipt but really good companies are willing to help their customers.
Summary: I stumbled across the Manfrotto ModoPocket Camera Stand online by chance...and it caught my eye due to it's all metal construction and precision folding design. Soooo...after comparing it to a few competitors, it seemed like something I had to have in my kit. I usually shoot with an SLR but sometimes I just want to walk around with a point and shoot. There have been plenty of times when I could have produced a great shot..
Summary: It's only good for compact cameras. You need a flat, level surface, and you need your subject to be where only slight adjustment of elevation is needed. However, when you have that situation, this little device works and gets you the shot. In the right situation it can work as easily as a better tripod, although in the wrong situation this won't be useful at all. You can't use a tripod that is someplace else.
Summary: For those days where you don't have your tripod (nearly everyday I shoot recently), this is a must have accessory. I am using a Fujifilm x100 and I have this card profile, unfolding "kick-stand" for when I need those specifically angled shots. The card is slim, think three credit cards stacked up tall. It is light, I throw it in a pocket and forget it's there. I love it!
Summary: Excellent small sturdy tripod. I use with Kodak Zi8. Can easily adjust viewing angle to maybe 30 degrees up and down. Wish would have an accompanying very small quick disconnect plate. Recommend highly for small pocket camcorder.
Summary: Outstanding little stand, hard to believe that something so small can be so strong and sturdy! Fantastic craftsmanship, high quality material, highest recommendations! Will buy another one for my wife's camera.Manfrotto rocks!!
Summary: I saw this wonderful little item at Henry's Camera while I was in Canada shooting a wedding. What caught my eye was their display which showed me how nice and compact it was, practically fitting perfectly into my camera pouch on my belt WITH THE MODOPOCKET STILL ATTACHED!!! WOW! It's simple to use, just pull out the point-n-shoot, unfold the tripod, angle it right, set the self-timer feature and join your friends and/or family in the photo.
Should be mandatory for smaller cameras. Such a great little tripod!

Summary: Let's face it. We all like the idea of having great shots with a tripod but we don't want to haul the thing around because it's big, bulky and just obnoxious. And if I'm going out for the night with friends, I'm certainly not going to be lugging around photography gear. The ModoPocket works pretty well on my Canon Powershot G10 14.7MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom .
