Summary: Paired with the Manfrotto 234RC head, this is a reasonably priced and rock solid choice. I'm very pleased with this monopod. Also small and light enough to take on long-distance trips without even thinking about it.
Summary: I bought the monopod to take shots at gymnastics meets. From the very first one I have noticed a significant difference in sharpness, so I regret not having bought it before. The monopod feels strong and professional. It's a great buy.
Pros: Height, Makes you look like a pro, Sharper photos, Strength
Summary: I was introduced to monopods by a colleague and tried several before trying a Manfrotto. I was completely hooked. I have already tried it in several settings: crowded streets, roaming hills, concerts, beaches, etc. For the combination of mobility and stability, I am hooked.
Summary: I bought this Monopod several weeks ago and have started to use it for birding shooting with my Canon EOS 40D + 400mm L f/5.6 lens. It's really a good product that offers a very stability even with such a heavy lens. Further, it is rather "light" to carry. It's a very good choice. It's worth the money!
