Summary: I was looking for a good monopod w/o spending a ton of cash. This adjusts easily is tall enough for me (5'10")and looks like it will last. If you don't need carbon fiber, and few do, this is a great one for the $$$.
Summary: Wonderful for nature and wildlife photography. Easy to carry while hiking through the woods, trails, or anywhere else you can imagine. Adds tremendous stability when using telephoto lens on uneven ground. Can also be used as a walking stick in tricky terrains. Just wish it came with a retractable spike foot, but that is easy enough to add. A great product overall.
Summary: If you need a economical, useful monopod. This is a good choice. A no frills decent constructed support for various applications. I still have my first DSL,Olympus E-10 with the Tcon-300 and Tcon-1.45 with a digipower battery and for those who are unfamiliar with this rig, It is no doubt one of the most longest/heavy rigs you can get. The 679b supports the weight with no problem. Works very well on my 20d body with grip and 70-200 f/2.8L is.
Pros: Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Locks In Tight
