  • Excerpt: This monopod is very useful when shooting wildlife or sports events, where a quick setup, adjustment, and fast relocation is necessary. It works great with heavy telephoto lenses, like a Nikon 28-300mm. It maybe a little heavy, but it is built well and the leg clamps are strong.

Good, light, sturdy, but a bit short

  • Excerpt: Good Manfrotto quality you would expect. I wouldn't call this a "heavy duty" monopod, but at the same time, I don't see myself breaking this during commercial use. It's lightweight, sturdy and folds fast. Not to mention the price is right. My only complain is that it's a bit short.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Opens Quickly, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Short

  • Excerpt: It should be a 5 stars. Only that the pod has a lot of oil throughout when delivered. I cleaned it up, works fine. Very strong and not too heavy.
