Solid little product

  • Excerpt: Pretty nice little hi-hat, not much else to say. I use it to get the low angle shots that my sticks just won't get to. Using this with the 75mm adapter for a 502 head, and a DSLR rig. Works perfectly for this application.

good but heavy

  • Excerpt: It does exactly what you think it would do, but it is way heavier than I had expected. I guess that is for stability, but it would be nice if it was a bit lighter.

Great value, very versatile

  • Excerpt: We use this for a range of cameras from the FS100 to the RED one and Varicam. Very tough, versatile and it looks great. The leg clips are the only weak spot and have been on most manfrotto legs for years. Excellent value.

Heavy, but solid

  • Excerpt: I'm using HDSLRs for this so it's a bit heavy for it's purposes, but does the job well. Solid construction.

Sturdy, small, but heavy as sin

  • Excerpt: I purchased this Hi Hat for a portable alternative to carrying around a large tripod when traveling. Size wise it's fantastic. It folds up nicely, it's sturdy, and it works well. However, the little thing is super heavy for it's size. This little guy with head is like 11 pounds!

Good for what it's designed for

  • Excerpt: Helpful product. I've had a chance to use it once in the field and it's helped secure some gorgeous shots. It's a gorgeous little piece and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in some low angle shots. Much better than trying to make do without it.

Top quality build and design.

  • Excerpt: Essential for low angle shooting, this hi-hat is top-quality built and designed, and pairs with many other accessories and all your 100mm bowl fluid heads. The holes at the end of the legs are in fact really useful for a stable connection onto light dollies or skaters like the omni-tracker.
