  • Excerpt: I got this for my EXFX jib. With a fully rigged F3 on one end it needs over 125lbs to counterbalance. These sticks do the job without worry.

Very sturdy, durable and functional

  • Excerpt: If you're looking for a really sturdy, well-built tripod to hold up a heavy camera load, this Manfrotto is a great choice. It's really strong and stable. It's also fairly heavy and bulky, so be ready for some heavy lifting, especially once you attach a large camera system. I purchased three of these for use with our RED cameras and Sachtler Video 18 SB tripod heads.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Sturdy, Unfolds Quickly
  • Cons: Heavy

Excellent product for what I need to use

MPS, B&H Photo
11 July 2011
  • Excerpt: The tripod will be used to support the Glide cam crane. Like that the half bowl can be leveled. Legs not only lock into place but also has pegs to lock legs for added safety, don't need a camera crashing to the ground if a presser lock does not hold. Works great when panning camera, extremely sturdy. Rubber capped legs or can be converted to use spike on legs, reversible nothing to lose as parts go.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Heavy Duty Sticks

REJJ, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I recently purchased an EZ FX jib and this product is heavy duty enough to handle the payload. I greatly appreciate the pins for leg adjustments with the wing nut locks for extra sturdiness. (Make certain the pins point inward).
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
