My favorite tripod for travel

Countryboyshane, B&H Photo
14 December 2015
  • Excerpt: My photographic focus is travel and architecture. Since 2007, these legs paired with my Manfrotto ball head have served me extremely well. The quick-lock legs are the selling feature. Dealing with flip-lock levers makes me not want to use a tripod. With the quick-lock, you can set up instantly.
  • Pros: Durable, Good Stability, Quick setup
  • Cons: Heavy

  • Pros: Compact, Easy to Use, Fast Fast Fast
  • Cons: Ok It Is Heavy

  • Excerpt: I went on a commercial assignment and another photographer had this tripod and let me use it on my commercial shoot. I love this tripod as to raise it you just pull the legs down to the desired height with no levers to turn.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Great all round tripod

Trevor, B&H Photo
21 May 2012
  • Excerpt: This tripod is great for when you are on the move, it can be very quickly deployed with the quick release buttons located at the top of the tripod and just as quickly folded down. I find it to be very stable though it does loose a little of that stability with the centre column extended.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Just What I was Looking For!

Mark, B&H Photo
18 May 2012
  • Excerpt: This tripod is so easy to use and adjust when in the pocess of taking pictures. It is a bit long when folded up, but it will be fine. The built-in carrying handle helps. I was able to use the tripod space on my camera bag -Lowepro, but it made the bag a bit too heavy.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
