3D

doug the runner, Adorama
13 October 2011
  • Excerpt: I use this with my 35mm film camera and slide film to make 3d photos. This attachment makes it fast and easy to slide the camera to a predetermined spot. The only down side is it will only move your camera about 4 inches so if you need more then that for you application then get some thing else. If you have no idea what I am talking about google stereo pictures and give it a try.
  • Pros: Large Range of Motion

Great built, easy to use, but heavy

eltaller, Adorama
26 July 2010
  • Excerpt: I bought this to use with my steadicam, add extra range in the fore/aft and also gain weight for my very light camera. It works great, the only con for my use is that it is difficult to get the same position everytime and that I have to remove the camera from the plat in order to change the battery of card.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
  • Cons: Heavy

Rapid Connect Adapter with sliding plate

uuglypher, Adorama
22 September 2009
  • Excerpt: does the job to balance different camera-lens combinations mounted in my gimbal head. My only criticism is that the rubber cushion strips have lifted at the ends due to adhesive failure when under stretch associated with tightening of the attached QR plate. Hence only four stars.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
  • Cons: Rubber glue failure

Bought item to attache to GlideCam 2000.

T-Square, Adorama
21 May 2008
  • Excerpt: I have a Bogen ProVista 75 tripod. I also have a GlideCam 2000. I bought this rapid connect adaptor assembly to place on my GlideCam 2000. I first placed the new quick release Base on top of the GlideCam. (All 4 holes on the quick-release base don't match up with the the holes on top of the GlideCam mounting plate exactly, but 2 holes will do okay, and you can re-drill new mounting holes on the GlideGam mounting plate if you want to, to have all 4 bolts hold, but the 2...
