Solid

johnmcdon, Adorama
10 July 2008
  • Excerpt: It is beautiful, and well built. I would have liked a gear drive on the slide that you adjust the most like the Manfrotto 454. I may try swapping that slide. The scales are not always easily read, difficult to see the #5 increments so you may have to count lines from where it is plainly visible, but...

Great sturdy head, some minor problems

AOPMike, Adorama
6 June 2008
  • Excerpt: I shoot 360 degree virtual tours for a living and have used this head for nearly 1000 tours. The best thing about these heads is that you only need to set them once for a particular camera and lens combination. Once the settings are made, you're good to go. The settings are also the problem.

  • Summary: After the initial headscratching when trying to work out which way to set it up on the tripod and aligning the lens, this tripod head works exceptionally well.It is sturdy and well made and will stand the test of time, I'm sure.Defining the nodal point is a little challenging to begin with - but if...

Gut aber schwer

MÄX, Amazon
4 February 2013
  • Summary: Der Panokopf entspricht meinen Vorstellungen.

16 January 2009
  • Summary: Das Ding ist robust, soviel steht fest.
