Exactly What We Needed

Nick TK Pinto, B&H Photo

 • Excerpt: We are using this tripod for photoshoot as well as video wherever needed. With this versatile tripod I am able to stick my 39" slider on with no problem. Its very light weight, especially for its size once fully extended. The only thing I can really say may need to be changed are the plastic feeling hinges that lock the tripods legs. Other than that this is a great product, especially for its price, GET IT!
 • Pros: Folds Small, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

He lives in southeast Asia, but his dreams is to become a professional photographer. So I decided to get this for him as a Christmas gift. I hope he will like it and many wished for his dream come true.

Wonderful product!

 • Excerpt: I bought this to use with a Manfrotto 410 Junior Geared Head, and I couldn't be happier. I use this to shoot interiors and portraits with a Canon 5D and smaller zoom lenses. This set has changed the way I work dramatically. Having great equipment is priceless. This is easy to transport and small enough to strap it on your backpack so you don't have to carry a separate tripod bag.

My favorite tripod legs

 • Excerpt: I used this with my Canon xa10. It's probably one of the sturdiest tripods you can fit in a suitcase. For "run & gun" video, I prefer it over a monopod because I can set it down and it'll stay put. But it also works well as a monopod, or just as a weight to keep a really light camera nice and steady. It's so solid that I use my larger tripod less than I used to. The telescoping center column is a great feature.

A great beginner tripod

Photography Noob, Adorama
25 May 2013
 • Excerpt: I am just starting out with photography, and this tripod is excellent for me for the following reasons:

- It isn't expensive (compared with ultra light-weight tripods)
- It extends very high and very low (great for all types of compositions)
- It is very sturdy (has plenty of room to grow with you e.g. new lenses!)
- I don't take it for extended hikes very often, so the weight isn't a problem.
 • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Unfolds Quickly
 • Cons: Heavy
