Excellent tripod

  • Summary: This tripod is much lighter than Bogen 3221 I've already own. Adding a Markins Q3 ballhead still weigh less than 3221 legs alone. So light that make you think it's cheap plastic:) I would not hesitate to bring it with me on a trip. And it can support a 6lbs 4x5 Arca camera with no problem. I do not like the bubble leveler, I think it's useless.
  • Pros: Light, sturdy
  • Cons: Pricy

A great all purpose tripod

  • Summary: I bought this tripod to use mainly on trips and/or everywhere a lot of walking is necessary. It definitelly fits that purpose: light, sturdy, easy to maneuver, gets really low (for those ground level flower shots) and quite handy. I'd also mention stylish and elegant with an excellent built quality. Now, only fours stars for the price/accessories provided ratio.
  • Pros: Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
  • Cons: No accessories

Very Satisfied

  • Summary: I needed a sturdy but light tripod for hiking deep into the wilderness. This is only slightly heavier than my old "el cheapo" aluminum & plastic Sunpak, but it is very manageable for long walks up and down in the mountains. It is sturdy for my 100-400 L Zoom (or any wide angle)and 40D with a flash attached. One problem was that the base where the ball head attached to the center column worked loose and wobbled (minus 1 star).
  • Pros: Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Rugged, Smooth Movement

Great Tripod For Good Price

  • Summary: This carbon tripod is lightweight and easy to setup. Seems very well made. I love the middle column's function. Can get very low to the ground. I was worried about the height not being tall enough, but it is fine. I researched this and couldn't bring myself to pay the price for the carbon Gitzos I like the leg levers better than the twist knobs anyway. I made a great decision.
