Excellent Dolly

Lion heart, B&H Photo
1 August 2014
  • Excerpt: Very easy to push over flat surface. Not recommended for uneven surface such as tile floor, uneven blacktop or cracks. Well built, very easy to insert and lock in tripod legs. I'm very happy with this Dolly system and highly recommended.

Used for prosumer camera

JamesDocs, B&H Photo
29 October 2013
  • Excerpt: This is a pretty good dolly. Not too heavy. Folds into a small package. Smooth rollers. As other reviewers pointed out, this is not for thick carpet. The brakes are very secure but low to the ground. It has a good look and feel.

BETTER THAN SLICED BREAD

Mrbill, Adorama
25 June 2013
  • Excerpt: I use the dolly under my 25x100 binos on a Manfrotto 502AH head and 028B head. The rig is fairly heavy. While I could easily pan (say, 90°) I would be on the other side of the elevator crank. Physically turning the tripod is tricky as the rig is top-heavy.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Great For Astronomy, Improves Tripod Function, Solid/Sturdy
  • Cons: None

Well built piece of video equipment!

Rob (AKA The Old Dog), B&H Photo
30 December 2011
  • Excerpt: This dolly is built well and adapted well to my Diawa Slik DST 73 video tripod (also from B&H). I did have to use surgical rubber to insure positive lock to the tripod feet but was expecting that as this is a Manfrotto product and plan to get a Manfrotto tripod for it in the future when budget...
