14 December 2010
  • Excerpt: I've had this piece of equipment for over twenty years and it's still going strong, it's so well made and tough that it's almost bomb proof. I may have used it with a camera a few times but generally it's been used in the studio on on location to hold props, lights, gels etc or anything that's heavy...

does a good job

  • Excerpt: I have been using the magic arm to hold small monitors to either a panasonic hdx 900 or my canon 7d. when shooting with the hdx900 I use a maffer clamp on one end and clamp the arm to the handle of the camera. With the 7d I usually clamp it to the tripod. It does a great job and does not drift.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Solid/Sturdy
  • Cons: Bulky
