Just the stuff

  • Excerpt: I don't understand why this is not standard equipment on Manfrotto tripods. Makes for a more solid and versatile tripod footprint on varied terrain, from river rocks to tile floors. I use the 055PROB and this is an overdue addition. You want 'em.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fits Well, Improves Tripod Function, Solid/Sturdy

Exactly what I was after

Indigenous Intent, B&H Photo
17 March 2014
  • Excerpt: Really great set of feet - was exactly what I was expecting/hoping they would be like. Even comes with a complementary screw driver to put them on. Can be useful for low angle setups too, as well as the obvious use in rough terrain. Only thing that I would change is to give them the ability to lock them in the desired position. Say you were on a smooth surface that could not be scratched, it would be nice to know that you could secure them in the 'rubber position.

"An excellent product from Manfrotto"

12 August 2013
  • Excerpt: You can always count on Manfrotto to make an excellent product and this is no exception. I bought these to replace the worn-out feet on my older Bogen 3021 tripod. They fit perfectly! They are made of sturdy material with retractable spikes. A handy tool for tightening the feet to the tripod legs is include. Would not hesitate to buy these again if there is ever a need.

Nice tripod

tom, Eagle Optics
9 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought this to keep heavy binoculars on, and leave it in my back window overlooking the bird feeders. Works fine: I like these screw-leg adjusters better than the snap-levers on my other tripod. It would be nice if there was a tray of some sort to keep lens caps and things, like I have on the other one.

well designed

Adorama

  • Excerpt: I am a landscape photographer, so I find the spikes useful. They appear to be well-made and the fact that they are stainless steel should improve their useful lives. Lowering the rubber feet is easy and there is a detente to prevent accidentally removing the rubber foot. Reason for 4 rating, is the tripod is new and I do not know how well the feet will hold up.

Essential for landscape photography

Dr. Z, B&H Photo
18 June 2013
  • Excerpt: After watching a photographer colleague balance on a slippery log in the river without spikes to hold his tripod steady, I figured I'd better order a set. They have the usual Manfrotto design. I've never been crazy about the hard rubber used but they work as intended.

  • Cons: Heavy

Perfect fit...

Dreamographer, Adorama
7 May 2013
  • Excerpt: These feet came on my old tripod and I have always loved them, especially since I do a lot of winter, icy shooting the spikes are perfect. I upgraded to a carbon fiber and they do not come with them so this option worked wonderfully. Back in buisness.
