Summary: I use the clamp to attach a magic arm to my automotive rig. Clamping onto a 2" diameter tube its nearly at its limit but is secure and hasn't let me down yet.Very stable and easy to work with, not really heavy and easily connected to.
Summary: pity you can't review the 3 components that I got, this clamp, Manfrotto 208HEX Mounting Adapter for Superclamp and that Manfrotto 494RC2 Mini Ball Head, make a perfect setup for a solid alternative to the Gorrilla grips that just can't hold an DSLR + lens steady.
Summary: This is a really handy piece of kit. It can handle a multitude of tasks which require a reliable but temporary fixing. The materials are all metal and appear heavy duty. Price wise, I think its value for money.
Pros: Easily Adjusted, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement, Strong
Summary: Got the clamp yesterday and have now ordered a Manfrotto 037 Camera Mounting Stud to go with it (for my PT04 III and strobe on a 190XPROB with horizontal Centre Column - yes, I know, absolute overkill at 15Kg max load, but am sure i will find other uses too!!!)The pro's and con's say it all - this clamp is huge, cleverly built (see infill piece for the 'jaws' which locates on the stud securing thread/spigot when not in use), solid and heavy with a decent finish, extra...
Pros: Rock Solid, usual excellent manfrotto build quality
