Summary: Along with Magic Arms this Manfrotto kit gets me out of all sorts of scrapes. Those situatins when you really need a light and there is no floor space. Or there is already a stand there with someone else's kit on it. Or an aerial on a door, Or a transmitter high up.

Summary: Perfect.If you haven't seen one of these in the flesh you'll be surpriesed at just how solid and well built it is. The photos can't do it justice without something to give it a sense of scale.I'd be tempted to try the ratchet handle version next time
Summary: I use the clamp to attach a magic arm to my automotive rig. Clamping onto a 2" diameter tube its nearly at its limit but is secure and hasn't let me down yet.Very stable and easy to work with, not really heavy and easily connected to.
