Joby Gorillapod Hybrid Review

The Gadgeteer
18 July 2012
  • Excerpt: I love taking night or long exposure photos; however, keeping your camera still is always the issue. There are tips and tricks to hand-hold and steady your camera, but often with long exposures, they’re still not good enough. Yes, if you’re planning your photo session, you could carry a full size tripod with you.
  • Pros: -Small, light, and portable, -Integrated ballhead, -Wraps and grips around a whole range of objects, -Easily creates a stable, level platform both horizontally and vertically.
  • Cons: -Pan without tilt a little bit awkward., -Unknown how the joints and rubber will perform long term

Joby Gorillapod SLR review

digitalslrphoto.com
27 May 2011
  • Excerpt: Matty Graham reviews this handy camera support £40 The Gorillapod is lightweight, has a quick release plate and can hold up to 800g (the larger SLR Zoom can support 3kg). What makes this support special is the flexible legs that can be splayed like a tripod or wrapped around trees or posts. This could be perfect for locations where you can't use a tripod.

Gorillapod Video Tripod Review

Maclife
14 December 2010
  • Conclusion: With its magnetic, bendy, grippy legs, the Gorillapod Video can banish shaky handheld footage, whether you’re hanging it from a tree or sticking it on the front of your scooter.
  • Pros: Light and portable. Smooth panning and tilting.
  • Cons: Not enough bulk to stay put.

Oooh, Eeeee, Oooh, Ahhh-A (Low-Down Gorilla Sounds)

Gear Patrol
15 June 2010
  • Excerpt: Here at Gear Patrol, we really like taking pictures. That’s why you see so much original photography here on the site (Yes, it’s ironic to see a stock photo with this post, but how we gonna take a picture of our camera without our camera?). That, and because we like to rise above the common detritus found strewn about the web. Forgive the digression.

Joby Gorillapod

Sprenzy
10 November 2008
  • Excerpt: Over the last few weeks, I’ve been using the Gorillapod Original to take macro pictures used on my food blog. Since my compact digital camera doesn’t have image stabilization, the Gorillapod has been fantastic at steadying the picture. It’s also great for taking group shots during a hike. Forget about rotating someone in and out of the shot to take the picture.

Joby GorillaPod Original

vlador.com
29 August 2013
