Good value in a travel tripod

  • Excerpt: My main consideration in getting the tripod was that it would fit in a 25 inch suitcase. It fits fine. My old tripod broke in Iceland so I needed to upgrade. I looked at several tripods but many that would fill the requirements were too pricey.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Lightweight

Great light weight tripod

  • Excerpt: I needed a lighter tripod than my existing Bogen tripod. The Bogen tripod is strong and versatile but heavy. I often left it at home so wanted a light weight version . The Induro CT114 is half the weight of the old one and is very well made.
  • Pros: Easy to use, Folds Small, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Great, light, sturdy tripod

  • Excerpt: I wanted a small, portable carbon fiber tripod for video and this does the trick. I bought this with a one hundred dollar Vanguard video head and it supports the weight of my Sony FS100 and even some heavier photo lenses. It's sturdier and much lighter than my aluminum Manfrotto.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

  • Excerpt: I needed a smaller, lighter tripod than my older Induro AT213 to take on a trip to the Tetons. Not as light as I expected especially with my ball head attached but much better than the AT213.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight

  • Excerpt: Needed a light weight tripod and this fills the bill. I use this with a ballhead to shoot with a Nikon 200-400 mm lens and stabilize with a weighted bag hooked to the center column. I photograph wildlife and landscape and like the carrying case when hiking to a location.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

  • Excerpt: For me this was the best compromise of cost and quality. I did a ton of research, which usually means I still choose the wrong one. I wanted carbon fiber for the weight reduction and stability. I wanted something appropriate for my height.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

  • Excerpt: Induro was running a special on all their Carbon tripods. I was looking for something that was light, compact and sturdy. This tripod is all of those, and at a great price. I already had the Induro BHD2 ball head, so this was a perfect fit. This tripod is a good 2 lbs.
