Well worth the money spent.

Kristina Copeland, Adorama
3 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Heavy duty, rock solid. Perfect for night, long exposure photography. It's not lightweight so not the best option for travelers. I use it with Benro B3 ballhead, very stable set up. Getting center column in reverse was a bit tricky but just takes a moment to figure out.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Unfolds Quickly

Sturdy Head

phototaker, Adorama
1 October 2013
  • Excerpt: Very strong and sturdy ballhead. Good size handles to tighten, or loosen. Holds firm with regular tightening, don't have to overtighten. The only thing I have noticed is the movement to pan has a little catch to it when I try to spin left, or right. Maybe it is warped or something.
  • Pros: Good Stability

Great heavy duty tripod

Edward Nash, Adorama
25 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Bought this as the base to mount my Astrotrac for astrophotography. This tripod fits the purpose nicely. It a little heavy for extended hiking but a great stable platform that can hold the weight. Beautiful construction, well made.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Heavy duty, Robust
