Excerpt: I have a Nikon 600mm f/4 and was looking at medium-load tripods, not wanting to spend the extra few hundred dollars for this Series 5, but in the field it is so stable and quick to adjust that I'm glad I went "heavy." It's very precisely and thoughtfully designed and constructed.
Excerpt: I have the previous version (2010-2011) of this tripod. The new up-grades are just added perks to an already excellent pro carbon fiber tripod. Excerpt: This is a great tripod for the money. Nice & light, yet very, very stable. Leg locks could be a bit of a pain for some, but after 5 years with a Miller CF tripod i am more than used to it. Leg spikes are awesome, & allow great purchase on even the hardest ground.
Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
