  • Excerpt: Thanks to B&H having a full display of Gitzso tripods I was able to confirm my choice against the 3 and 5 tripods. Together with a Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Head this is an awesome setup with my Canon 500 f/4. The height that the tripod extends to means it suitable for just about anybody.

Great tripod

  • Excerpt: I only have one regret: that I didn't buy a Gitzo a few years ago. I use this in conjunction with a Really Right Stuff BH-55 head. It is rock solid. The heaviest lens I use is the 300 F2.8 L IS mk I lens and it hold that with no issues at all.

  • Excerpt: I use the tripod for wildlife photography and it provides a sturdy base for heavy lenses. Very fast setup and and legs securely rotate in place. It even comes with replacement feet and replacement parts should a repair need to be made on the leg locking assembly.
