Awesome Tripod!

31 December 2014
  • Excerpt: This is an awesome tripod. Light weight, extremely stable and easy to operate on the field. The new design of the center plate and the G-Lock with the built-in spikes is great! I use this with my D750/D600 with a heavy 300mm f/2.8 with a 2x TC on a Kirk ball head all the time and this one is rock solid. I used to have the older 1325 tripod which I absolutely loved.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Deploy, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Very Stable, Very Versatile

Everything I Expected

  • Excerpt: Was considering an equivalent Really Right Stuff tripod. However the $150 rebate (ends on 12/31/14) was the deal breaker a quality tripod, relatively light weight with a reasonable height. Easy to adjust legs.

Just what I needed

Michael from Mtz, Adorama
27 August 2013
  • Excerpt: This tripod is a great balance between having a more light weight tripod and providing stability for telephoto lens. At 4 pounds it isn't as light as some tripods, however it is lighter than my old Gitzo which weighs 7 pounds. Also, the GT3532LS is more rigid than my old tripod, which beyond weight was a major motivating factor for my purchase. I took it on a hike and finding a bird of prey, I quickly set it on uneven terrain.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Excellent, rugged tripod

  • Excerpt: I bought this because I wanted a stiff, high-quality tripod for my Canon 6D-based system that was tall enough to use without bending over. That may seem easy to find, but it wasn't for me. At 5'8" tall, these legs (with Kirk BH-3) will get my 6D a couple inches higher than what I need, so I'm happy there. This leg set is very stiff and still light in weight. I'll be using this 'till I die.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Strong

  • Excerpt: Have used other carbon fiber tripods, but with the rebate could not resist spending the exra bucks. The legs are very strong and work well with the canon 500mm f4 lens! Light and good leg grips! With the rebate it was an excellent buy....very glad I did.

Good for 6' Tall

KPLee, Adorama
9 April 2013
  • Excerpt: My first tripod purchase. I won't talk about stability, if you are looking at this tripod you already know what the GT3532LS has to offer. I purchased on the advice of many others. I have no idea if there is just as good of a product at half the cost but I know I won't spend another minute finding out. How much is that worth? I was looking at the taller version but the price drove me to this size.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Great Versatility, Unfolds Quickly
  • Cons: Not Flyer Friendly
