It comes with a belt clip is you want to carry it on your belt. I put mine inside my Think Tank Airport travel case and it fits nicely with my camera equipment.

The Real Deal

  • Excerpt: The Gitzo is a pleasure to use--and I should have bought it first before I purchased an inferior monopod. The Gitzo is solid, offers a taller reach, and the leg sections are so easy to lock and unlock! If you use a monopod or think one might come in handy, this is the one to buy.
  • Pros: Compact, Opens Quickly, Solid, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: I recently bought the Gitzo after using the Manfrotto competitor for years. I used it to shoot a Formula 1 race with my 70-200 F2 lens + extender. It was sturdy and I liked the fact that I can open all the sections at once by twisting vs. the Manfrotto flange locks.
