Excerpt: I got the Gitzo GH2720QR for use with my Kowa TSN 883 spotting scope. I selected the Gitzo based on reviews I read. Overall, I am satisfied with the Gitzo. The only issue I have is with the use of a single knob to tighten both the horizontal and vertical movement of the head.
