Versatile & Strong

Delio Jacildo, Adorama
11 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I use this mini tripod at wedding receptions. My Canon 5D2 with EF 17-40mm L lens is mounted on a ballhead. In addition, a Canon 580EX II speedlite is attached to the camera shoe. The camera has a Pocket Wizard for remote triggering. With proper camera settings, all ten wedding guests on every table can have picture taken with excellent results.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Great Product: Light & Sturdy

  • Excerpt: Folds small, very sturdy, holds D5100 & 16-85 solid with a RRS BH25 Head. Great for landscapes shots when hiking when hauling a full size tripod is too much size/weight. Be aware you don't get much height although your head will add a few inches.

Great little tripod

larry, Adorama
22 February 2010
  • Excerpt: Most of the table top tripods I looked at and owned never could support very much weight. This tripod is everything I hopped it would be and more. It is small, compact and will support enough weight to make it usable. Since it does not take up much room, I can carry it with me werever I go. I like this product.

Security and Stability

Malcolm, Adorama
13 July 2008
  • Excerpt: I was looking for a tabletop tripod to reliably support the weight of a Nikon D200 with a vertical grip battery holder, an SB-800 Speedlight, and a remote control (Nikon ML-3) attached via an accessory grip. This tripod is perfect. I keep a Manfrotto 3229 attached to it for quick set up. The open legs create a stable 10-inch diameter support area and no tipping is caused by an 18-200 VR lens. Worth much more than I paid. Product feels well made. Kudos to Giottos.
