  • Excerpt: This tripod is surprisingly sturdy when the smaller two leg sections are not extended. The smaller two leg sections are very thin and flex significantly. The rubber feet cannot be replaced with spikes, nor does the 8340 have a spike stored inside each rubber foot as with the larger 8350.
  • Pros: lightweight, carbon fiber, padded legs
  • Cons: not stable with all leg sections extended
