Just ok

Adorama
20 April 2012
  • Excerpt: If you use a small camera with a kit lens, say a Canon XSI with a 18-55, this will works just fine, but if you use a larger semi- pro or pro body you need a Pro Ball head, don't waste your money.
  • Cons: Unstable, Weak Clamp

Hopeless

Johnc, Adorama
18 March 2011

sturdy and compact

7 July 2010
  • Excerpt: I purchased this head as a substitute for a fluid video head. This serves as a good small camera head. The quick release feature is good and the clamps are firm and solid. i also purchased a head with handles and would recommend that for someone not used to one without.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp

Great Ballhead Good Quick Release

Jim, B&H Photo
14 April 2010
  • Excerpt: Except for a strange Silk quick release I have never used one, this one is much better and I got it to match the one I was getting for my other Ballhead. It works fine I wish the lever did not stick out so much. The Ballhead is simple, but simple is what I wanted for my Monopod.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Strong Clamp

Best used on a monopod, IMO

An ordinary, average guy, B&H Photo
1 March 2009
  • Excerpt: I bought this to use on a monopod because it: A) takes the same QR plate as the ballhead on my tripod, and B)is fairly simple in design. I didn't really want anything fancy on top of a monopod.

Funktioniert einwandfrei

Frank Reiser "Reiser", Amazon
24 August 2010
