Great Stand

John D., Newegg
11 December 2013
  • Pros: This thing is great for the price. It has a level, everything that should be metal is, and it is light weight. This thing is great for your entry level photographer.
  • Cons: Nothing at the moment.

I love it! Excellent!

Samuel P., Newegg
25 November 2013
  • Summary: I suppose if you were out in super windy conditions, or on a boat or car, you'd want a heavier tripod, but this is perfectly fine for all other conditions. I also wouldn't mount a huge 50 lb camera on this-it is made for the lighter, modern cameras.
  • Pros: I love this tripod. Admittedly, I am an amature, far from an expert, and this is my first tripod. However, going by those standards, I am really happy with it. I think these lighter tripods are just about as good as a heavier one, and this one seems to have all of the features that I'd need.
  • Cons: I heard in another review that this tripod doesn't pan smoothly for video shots, and I've noticed with my experience that that may be true. It is not the end of the world, as you can grab the head mount and steer the pan more smoothly with your hand as opposed to the bar attched to the head. I guess that isn't exactly pro, but I still love this tripod overall.

Great little Tri-Pod

Shannon R., Newegg
14 March 2013
  • Pros: At the time I purchased this, it was discounted $30. I was expecting something on the flimsy side, but all in all this tri-pod is sturdy and functional. Wishing I bought more at the discount for gifts.
  • Cons: None really.

This is my first tripod

Jerimiah J., Newegg
8 December 2010
  • Pros: I am very happy with this item. I received it for free as part of a package purchase (Very incredible deal, thanks Newegg.) and I am blown away that I got it for free. The important parts are metal, it has an "elevator" that is raised/lowered with a rotating lever. It came with a nice carrying case(bag) that has a long strap to throw it over your shoulder. There is also a nice plastic grip attached mid-frame for portability outside of the bag.
  • Cons: None. Haven't had it for very long, this is an initial review, but the moldings are fit tightly, and everything seems assembled properly.

WELL WORTH THE PRICE

CHARLES B., Newegg
2 March 2009
  • Pros: Easy to transport around, comes with it's own travel bag. Sturdy. All legs and parts have easy to use hand-lock-in clamps. Quick release head for a quick camera mount. Price is definitely right. I like this tripod better than the ones I've seen at Besy Buy.
  • Cons: Haven't found any yet.

Perfect.

John L., Newegg

  • Pros: This product is sturdy and it does what it is meant to do and that's hold the camera/camcorder steady. The tripod is also lightweight and I found the adjustable legs and feet to be very helpful on uneven surfaces...this was helped by the two bubble levels that are built into the tripod.
  • Cons: For the purpose of being a tripod...none.
