A cut above

  • Excerpt: This is the fourth monopod I have owned. I shoot soccer year round and initially purchased what appears to be a sturdy monopod. Shortly thereafter I learned there are other qualities that yield a better product. This product being reviews performs as stated. Tension clips are easy to adjust, the unit is very light and in fact is shorter than to previous two carbon fiber units I have owned. Thus far, this product has been a pleasure to use.

Awesome (not so much for tall people)

  • Excerpt: This is a great monopod, but I didn't pay attention to the maximum height (59.64 inches) before I bought it... used it once, realized my mistake (I'm 6' 1" tall, need a monopod that has at least 66" maximum height), and have ordered something that stretches out a little more.
  • Pros: Compact, Easy to Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Short Maximum Height

  • Excerpt: Used it for shooting at the tulip festival, really enjoyed using the monopod. It is light and surprisingly steady for a monopod. The flat base at the bottom keeps it steady and lets you easily adjust shooting angles. Height adjustments are easy.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Opens Quickly, Strong Construction

a stand-up monopod

  • Excerpt: I use it primarily for macro photos, zooms, and low light, whenever I need more stability than I can get hand-holding I love that it is so light and easy to carry but at the same time so sturdy. It is not flimsy at all. It easily supports my sony alpha 1 with a 300mm zoom, the longest I currently have. I do wish it contracted to a slightly shorter length for closer access for the macro shots without having to tilt it.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Opens Quickly, Strong Construction

Gotta love a solid support

  • Excerpt: Great for shooting video at sporting events with a small camcorder. Works great with a camera too! I like this particular monopod for two very specific reasons. First, its very light (helps at the end of the day) and secondly, this monopod is very short when folded up. What this does is allow its use while sitting down. Very important in stadium seating when you are going to have to sit there for an extended period of time.

  • Excerpt: I purchased the monopod for shooting at outdoor events where the light is failing. The C38F works perfectly, allowing me to stablize my camera without having to use a bulky tripod. It is easy to carry and to set up. It is well made and will last forever! Wish I had purchased it years ago!
