Excerpt: This is a very compact tripod which is great for air travel and hiking. It is very sturdy and holds my Nikon D800 with 24/120MM lens or 70/300MM lens easily. The conversion of one leg to a monopod is a handy feature. I would encourage anyone looking for a compact, sturdy, lightweight tripod to consider it.
Pros: Compact, Good Stability, Lightweight, Strong Clamp, Sturdy
Excerpt: I used this tripod on a recient trip to the rain forest with a group. Tripod was excellent but took a bit of time to set up. Didn't have much time as I was in a group tour but got it done. Need to use the furnished wrench to tighten camera mount, have this part done before heading out.
Excerpt: How can anyone not like this tripod, wanted a nice tripod and then a monopod and then I researched upon this one. It has everything, extreme quality, compactness, fluid movement and holds twice the weight of most travel tripods, the head is flawless as well as the function. Benro's are well worth the money for what you get in a tripod/monopod package, even comes with a top quality case and weight hook.
Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
Excerpt: Bought this tripod chiefly for flying to vacation spots and then hiking to panoramic vistas. So I wanted something that was compact, relatively light, vet sturdy in the field. I like the pan-lock on the head and the head seems very sturdy. Only negative is that I can't see the bubble level when the camera is on the tripod, so I bought one of the little hot shoe levels to solve the problem.
