Excerpt: My criteria was simple: something I could travel with, use for work inside and out, that was stable, reasonably light, with a good ball head. I got most of that in enough quantities to call this a 4-star tripod, but there are caveats.
Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
Excerpt: Honestly, i've only been using it few times. As far as the functionality, it serves the main purpose of transfunctional tripod. All in one!! I dont need to bring extra stuffs with me when i take pictures. It's all included. So, all good for me.
Pros: Folds Small, Lightweight, Multi Purpose, Unfolds Quickly
Excerpt: What I like: Solidly built. Feels like it will last decades. Changing leg heights is a breeze. The included ball head is easy to use. Folds small. Even in its case, it's small enough to fit in a carry-on bag with a week's worth of clothes.
Excerpt: I wanted a travel tripod that would fit into my 20" carry-on luggage, and this tripod easily meets that test. I knew that I would be making some sacrifices when I selected this bag, but the price point was the deciding factor. The design is good, and it is well made.
Pros: Folds Small, Good Construction, Good Design, Lightweight
Excerpt: I've religiously buy Manfrotto until I saw this model at the B&H Super Store in NY. Not that I wouldn't buy Manfrotto again but this little guy who collapses to about a little over 1 foot for easy to carry travel photography to over 6 ft for excellent portraits and product photography.
Excerpt: Received my tripod and set it up right away. It was great, except that when I removed the center column I could not easily get it into it's ring again. It must be slid along a groove into the stem, and that stem/ring (or whatever it's called) is lined with (I think) a plastic sleeve.
