Heavy, but a great tripod

  • Summary: I had searched for a tripod with some specific requirements. Something stable enough to hold a Canon XSI with a 70-200mm f2.8 L IS and 2X attached, spiked and rubber feet for indoor/outdoor usage, a built in level and one that was over 6 feet in height to prevent from becoming a hunchback. Carbon fiber has a few to choose from, but too many Formula 1 crashes (and the price) had me searching for something more conventional in material.
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
  • Cons: Heavy
