If you're looking for something compact.

  • Summary: I shoot with a dslr, which this tripod works well to support. It is very compact and folds up very small-it fits inside my camera bag or backpack when I need it to. It came bundled with a fairly small-compact ballhead too, just wish it had a bubble level.

Not good for vertical shots

ArcticShooter, B&H Photo

  • Summary: Very compact and light tripod. Fits inside most photo backpacks. I got a Canon 40D and mostly use the 10-22 and Sigma 18-200 since they are great for travelling. While doing horizontal shots this kit works great. But when you have to tilt it for doing vertical, it creeps very easily. And I was afraid to over tightend the ballhead.
  • Pros: Durable, High Quality, Takes up little space, Very light
  • Cons: Ball head creeps, Expensive
