Great speedlite

21 April 2015
  • Excerpt: This is the perfect Speedlite for my needs. I wanted it to work as a Slave flash and it performs perfectly in this capacity. I like how it has a range of power from 1/1 to 1/128th. I have also found it to be constructed well. It feels solid & well built.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Good Video Quality
  • Cons: Manual Mode Only

  • Excerpt: Recieved (2) units just recently. I will be/am using them exclusively as studio lighting. Manual only is perfect for my setup. They are easily adjusted and are the perfect companion to my Minolta Autometer-V. I have them connected via PocketWizards to my camera and the setup is incredibly simple.
  • Pros: Easy to Use

Good flash for the price

  • Excerpt: Great flash for the money. If your looking for a good manual flash this one is pretty good. I bought this to use as a slave off-camera flash. S2 slave mode doesn't work because of the pre-flash timing with my NEX-5. I had to buy a second optical trigger to get it working
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Great value
  • Cons: S2 Incompatabile With Nex

  • Excerpt: This is a good low cost alternative if you don't need TTL. The build quality is not cheap either except the hot shoe feels weak.
  • Pros: Cheap, Easy to Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Hot Shoe Flimsy
