Summary: I was looking for a low cost accessory for wife's Nikon 5000 for Christmas. This arrived within the delivery time expected before the big date and performed great for the pic. She had no problem with it--just snap it on, turn it on, and take pix. The diffuser lens that snaps out is a plus to prevent hard shadows. She has yet to need new batteries, and this over a month since. The LED setup screen is user friendly.
Summary: I bought this product for the TTL feature and I use it on my Canon XT with great results. I had the slave fill flash from Sunpak before getting this flash and liked the performance of it but I wanted something that would work with my camera so I bought this and love it. The bounce feature was also a strong selling point for me because it not only moves up and down it also goes side to side.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easy To Use, Fast Recycling, Lightweight, Powerful Output
Summary: I was originally looking for a new 383 but as they were out of stock and I needed a new flash for a job I decided to give the PZ42X a go. I use this unit for off camera lighting along with one other PZ42X and a 383. It's an inexpensive option to the Canon gear. It has a nice strong output with a GN of 42. Operation is simple and easy to use especially if using in manual mode. Small, lightweight and compact. Ideal to use with generic Cactus V2 radio trigger/receiver sets.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Easy To Clean, Fast Recycling, Lightweight, Quiet
