Excerpt: I recently purchased the EM-140 DG Macro Ringlight Flash for Canon EOS by Sigma...After installing the batteries, I pulled out the adapter rings to fit on my new Canon 100mm Macro lens which takes a 58mm size filter. Unfortunately, Sigma has stopped bundling a 58mm size in with the 55mm size. I found this out by a yellow piece of paper inside the box telling me that they are now bundling 62mm in with the 55mm.
Excerpt: I use this for macro plant photography. I chose it over the Nikon flash because the side flashes are embedded in the ring instead of exposed and more likely to catch on something, also because it takes AA batteries instead of special batteries. I worried that flashes from both sides would wash out the subject, but the photos are wonderfully textured and nuanced.
Excerpt: This perfectly serves my purposes. I use this for dental photography, and the photos are great. I have read complaints that this ring flash is not a "true" ring flash, but rather, it has two flashes on opposite sides of a circular design. For me, this is enough, but make sure you know what you are buying.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight
Excerpt: I am using this product with Nikon D90 and D7000 with 100mm macro lens and a 18- 105 zoom lens. This product is nearly perfect. Easy to understand and to use. Instruction book is easy to understand and apply. I am happy I bought it from B+H . Great after sales and service. My only reservations are that the module needs to be pushed all the way to the end of the camera hotshoe to work properly. It took me about an hour to figure this out.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easy To Use, Fast Recycling, Manual Easy To Understand, Powerful Output, Well Made Easy To Attac

Excerpt: I purchased the adapter to use with a new lens I just bought. When inteceived it, I was able to attach it to the lens and puck tight up with my photography. Thanks B&H for carrying everything I need and you deliver it a lot quicker than the local photo supply house could get it to me.
Excerpt: I had a flash like this form one of the "Big Two" many years ago and it quit working immediately after the warranty expired. I paid a small fortune for that thing and so I never replaced it...until now. The price of this unit and my happiness with the two Sigma lenses I own convinced me to give it a try. I shoot very little macro in my work, but love to do it for fun and I thought, for the price, it was worth a shot. The first thing I noticed it its very light.
