Great piece of equipment

  • Excerpt: Great flash for the price. Easy to use after you read the manual and learn how to use it properly. Works great with my Nikon, witch was surprising. I bought it to use it with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4, and it works perfect.
  • Pros: Great Picture Quality, Lightweight

  • Excerpt: I have used the Flash only once, and it work correctly. Than 4 months after, when I tried to use it for the second time, the flash was not working at all.Panasonic won't change it or give me a new one, since accessory warranty period is only 3 months.I tried to fix it, and took the flash to an official Panasonic service.

Bang for your buck!

  • Excerpt: If you don't want to spend over $ on a flash, this is a great flash to get. Works great with my GH4. I warn you though, the manual says if you fire off 10 flashes within a short period of time, it tells you to stop using the flash for 10 whole minutes! Now, I tested this baby by firing the flash 25 times within 90 seconds and it didn't overheat or even say busy... So it should still be good...
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight
  • Cons: May Overheat

Best Panasonic Flash Yet

gadget2, B&H Photo
1 June 2014
  • Excerpt: FL-360L flash is a serious upgrade to the original FL-360 model, adding far more features than the obvious LED video illuminator. Using 4AA batteries allows much faster recycle time of 2s compared to 8 s for the FL-360 that uses 2AA batteries. FL-360L is no bigger and, without batteries, is a little lighter weight than the FL-360. But, FL-360L is heavier with 4AA batteries loaded.

Panasonic DMW-FL360L

Chukster, Adorama
25 April 2014
  • Excerpt: I purchased this flash from Adorama to use primarily on my Panasonic GH3 off camera in Wireless/RC mode. It is useless as a flash for this purpose. It works fine and as expected while mounted to the hot-shoe. However, when taken off the camera the AF Lamp blinks every second or so to communicate back with the GH3. If you are in a dark room, the light is bright enough to light up the room.

versatile flash

  • Excerpt: Overall I am happy with this flash. Easy menu access and TTL behaves well. Not happy with the radio control mode. Requires trigger flash from the camera, which limits what can be done in RC mode.

Not wireless for me!

Train-shooter, B&H Photo
10 April 2014
  • Excerpt: Bought this flash because it was listed by B&H as a compatible unit for my Panasonic DMC-FZ200. Was told it also was wireless by salesperson. Offered at good price. Received unit which has funtioned well when attached to hot shoe of camera, BUT, it is not wireless compatible for the FZ200. Fine print on Panasonic materials shows it is only wireless with certain cameras, and not FZ200. OK, no biggie. I'll just get an off-camera shoe cord. Not having any luck, though.
  • Pros: Compact, Easy to Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Compatibility, Off-camera Use
