Summary: Most effective flash I have used. I own two SB700's & use them in doors as well as outdoors. With the Nikon D90, I use the flashes in remote mode quite often. They can be used on or off camera.
Summary: This is an amazing an powerful flash. I love the warmth it gives to the photos when using it as a bounce flash. I love the versatility of being able to adjust where to point the flash. I'm still figuring out all the things it can do but I quickly learned how to use it the best to my liking. I seriously don't think you will regret buying this flash.
Excerpt: Not as powerful or with as many features as the old SB800 but easier to use the menu and turn on and off. It's not as expensive or as powerful as the SB910, and more reliable than the SB900. I'm happy with this and my SB800.
Summary: This flash is easy to use or has great potential for the most advanced photographers. I am watching youtube to learn how to use the amazing features this flash offers, but it is well worth my time. Some of the great features include: multi-directional pivots to bounce the flash, get filters that snap onto the flash, flash diffuser, a stand for using the flash as a slave, the intuitive communication between flash and camera, nice bag to hold it all, the ability to use it...
Excerpt: I use the SB700 in my "day job photography" and wanted to add it to my personal equipment. So I went with the Nikon factory refurb with Cameta's great 1-year warranty and -- from all I can tell -- I got a new SB700 at a super bargain price. Thanks Cameta for putting a great flash in my camera bag -- and at a price and with a 1-year guarantee I could not have gotten elsewhere!
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easy To Use, Fast Recycling, Lightweight, Powerful Output, Versatile
Excerpt: I use this flash unit mainly for fill flash, it works very well, easy to use, has a nice amount of power, I have found that the recycle time gets longer as the battery power is getting low, and it does eat through batteries quickly (I have found it to go through about one set per hour - hour and a half of shooting) so I make sure to always carry two extra sets of rechargable batteries in my pack - just in case.
