Excerpt: Used this with the xpro 1. Nice look and compact. The shoe swivels forward and back for different angles to direct the light from bounce to direct flash. Quick EV adjust button is nice. Great fill light and skin tones are great. Slow recycle and turns off after a while. It literally turns off.
Excerpt: I use this flash for night photography & rock n roll photography with my fujifilm x pro-1. The flash is strong and powerful. It has some nice options that let you be in control. This thing is small and lightweight. It attaches to my camera very easily and is not bulky looking.
Excerpt: I bought this little unit primarily because of its small size and weight. In spite of that it performs fairly well and the hot shoe rotates into the housing to save space. It is very convenient that way. It is very slow to power up. Nice that it uses cheap AA batteries.
Excerpt: Make no mistake, there are larger and more capable flashes out there. Even the EF-X20 (which I think looks cooler). But, what's really great about the EF-20 is its ability to swivel up for bounce flash. Powerful enough for fill and bounce in a room with 10' ceilings.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easy To Use, Fast Recycling, Lightweight, Packable, Versatile
Excerpt: I love this flash. It's powerful enough for my purposes, the head tilts and I can put it in my pocket. Direct flash can be ugly and this little thing bounces. It mounts in a jiffy and I'm ready to go. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.
Excerpt: The EF-X20 is a small, lightweight, nicely made flash that matches the Fujifilm X30 well but is relatively expensive. The off camera slave feature only operates in manual mode triggered by the camera's flash. My recommendation is based build quality and slave feature.
