A great piece of kit

  • Excerpt: I love this flash. It's powerful enough for my purposes, the head tilts and I can put it in my pocket. Direct flash can be ugly and this little thing bounces. It mounts in a jiffy and I'm ready to go. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

Light but so slow

15 May 2015
  • Excerpt: I used this flash with the XT1. I bought this flash to take hiking for those times where a bit of extra light would be useful. It is small and light but the recycle time is unbearably slow.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Slow Recycling

Nicely Made But Basic

28 April 2015
  • Excerpt: The EF-X20 is a small, lightweight, nicely made flash that matches the Fujifilm X30 well but is relatively expensive. The off camera slave feature only operates in manual mode triggered by the camera's flash. My recommendation is based build quality and slave feature.

  • Excerpt: Love off camera flash photography. Especially wireless and radio triggered. This little fellow compliments my flash strobe outfit perfectly being able to use TTL, as a slave and or with my radio triggers. Well built, designed and compliments my x100 very nicely.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Powerful Output, Versatile
  • Cons: Slow Recycling

Highly recommended flash

Dougman, B&H Photo
24 April 2015
  • Excerpt: The best little flash ever. Operates and functions flawlessly so well that I ordered a second one so I can use creatively off camera and best of all wirelessly. I don't understand the complaints that have been submitted. The price is.reasonable for such a quality item in a small pkg.

Good stuff!

Franz, B&H Photo
17 April 2015
  • Excerpt: Works with TTL on the Finepix S1! I couldn't find any info on using this on the S1 50x zoom camera that came out in 2014. All searches come up with S1 Pro, or X-S1 info. The Fujifilm documentation for the camera doesn't explain much, just says TTL compatible basically.

Good Small Bounce Flash

Pete in SD, B&H Photo
11 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Good small flash. I use mine on my XE-1. Provides balanced light and gets the job done. I use mine to primarily for bounce flash lighting and occasionally fill flash. 90 degree vertical rotation but no horizontal.
