Underpowered but Capable

j024h8, B&H Photo
22 September 2014
  • Excerpt: This was my first Speedlite flash. I found it very capable, but somewhat underpowered. I say capable because there are a number of features that I was very (pleasantly) surprised by that make up somewhat for the flash being underpowered. I think this is a great flash to "get your feet wet", but it seemed a bit pricy for what it delivers.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Masterslave, Versatile, Wireless
  • Cons: Slow Recycling, Weak Output

  • Excerpt: To complement the new gen of DSLRs we need more flexible flashes. This is a good step in that direction, and I'd like to see more from Canon and others.

Great Flash for Amatuer Video and Print

Public Affairs Commander, B&H Photo
21 April 2013
  • Excerpt: I bought a Cannon 60D and realized I needed a flash that was flexible for both recording video and flash photography. Overall, the 320 was made for just that. I like it but I think if I had to do it again I would choose the 400 series.
