Excerpt: bought this item 2 months ago for my G11 .works perfect
for my camera, the size is just right not to bulky,it turn on slow at first but once is set ,recycling is fast .so far no problem using it ,recomment for the G series.
Pros: quiet, Good Exposure performance, Superior build quality, Fast recycling time, good size for g series
Summary: There are situations where this flash is better than a 480 or above. Mainly if you dont need the big huge units, this one has a much lower profile and wont get in the way. The larger series canon flashes will throw more light, but this one works well for most situations.
Pros: Price. For the cost of this flash, it has features that should cost over 200$. I plan on upgrading to the 480 unit this year, but even though I've only had this flash for my 7D for a few months, its a great unit. Small enough to fit in the camera bag, yet the flash head is big enough to throw lig...
Cons: No settings dial on the flash. But, I knew this already and for the money, it probably would be more expensive if it did.
Summary: Only owned this for few hours now since delivery and I have already started messing with it, and let me say its amazing. I am a really new guy into DSLR and this flash has removed the hassle of the manual mode blur when object move. I would recommend this to anyone thats beginning.
Pros: Small, compact, easy to use, flash refresh rate for flash very fast not even full second. Only requires 2 AA batteries, I am using rechargable Energizers and wow. Great bounce feature.
Excerpt: This flash is just perfect for what it is intended to do. I use it with both my G11 and 5D Mark II. It is great for close-up fill-in flash during the day and excellent for short-range flash. I use a Sto-Fen flash diffuser in all uses and it really reduces the harshness of the flash.
Pros: quiet, Good Exposure performance, Superior build quality
Excerpt: I love using this flash with my 5Dmk2 for indoor parties, fill flash outside, etc. Using rechargeable AAs provide a fast recycle time for almost any shooting condition. I like the menu-driven controls (especially the second-curtain sync ability), the tilt-zoom head and its size.
Pros: Superior build quality, Good Exposure performance, small form factor
Excerpt: works well with my G9 & G7 but works great on my G10. love this flash. i can also use it on my 40D & rebel xt when i don't fell like carrying my 580 or 580ii. i may get a second one. it great.. Go Canon !! also smaller than my 220ex..
Pros: Superior build quality, Fast recycling time, Good Exposure performance, quiet
Summary: Canon EOS 5D Canon EF 24-70mm lens Speedlight 270EX :)
Pros: I bought this as the main flash for my Canon 5D, and I am impressed so far. I can't throw out any numbers of settings or stats (I'm new to the digital SLR game) but being able to swivel it up for bounce shots has worked nicely, which is why I bought this. Also high speed sync shots work surprisin...
