Great small flash

Excerpt: I was not sure such a small flash would work for me, but I've been really impressed with the 270EX II. I've found that a bounce flash is the key to natural looking interior photos, and this flash has worked well with the Canon SL1 body in our home with 8 ft. ceilings. I decided to buy this flash instead of a 40mm lens, which was the right decision. I'll still probably buy the lens, but the flash has been a great part of the small SL1 package.
Excerpt: fantastic item small but powerful ,great for carry around flash ,light weight but has great power for around the house, wish i would have tried this one sooner not nearly as bulky as the 600 not as many bells and whistles but it works perfect with my prime lens
Excerpt: I use it on my Canon Powershot G16. The camera supplies all of the necessary data to the flash- i.e. distance, lighting, etc. When the flash goes off the picture exposure is dead on. My flash photo's are much more accurate and vibrant with this flash as opposed to the standard camera flash. Highly recommended.
Excerpt: We have 5 of these on our organization's cameras. We use them in low lighting situations often and are QUICK to respond. Raising the flash at a 90 degree angle helps the most to bounce the light off the walls giving a great even balance in our photos. A diffuser cap also helps soften the flash on faces and animal eyes!
