Excerpt: Around 10 months it started to have a loud, every two second clicking sound. I believe the zoom gear has slipped off of its track. Couldn't set any settings, and even though it still flashes, it's basically unusable because of how loud the clicking is.
Excerpt: I bought Bower SFD926N few years back to work on my Nikon D5000. It worked OK for a while but started malfunctioning. It wont charge up even on brand new batteries. The camera does not recongnize the flash anymore. It proved to be an unreliable piece.
Pros: Easy To Use, Lightweight, Powerful Output
Cons: Ittl Does Not Work, Slow Focus, Slow Recycling, Unreliable
Excerpt: I bought this unit to save some money, as I'm really just an amateur. I have a D5100 and the only problems I've had so far, are that I can't use the Auto setting on the camera because the ISO will go higher than the flash can use. I use P, A, S or M instead and manually set the ISO.
Excerpt: This is the 1st flash I have purchased for my camera and i couldn't be more pleased. It's easy function and instructions allowed me as a first timer to immediately start using. The built-in diffuser is a plus.
Excerpt: Head tilts and swivels any which way you need, buit in diffuser/reflector, I-TTL, Zoom, off camera ability, and powerful for around $. Also no issues with fit, and metal base gives it strength! Re-charge time is not too bad either.
Excerpt: I had to return this item. Information stated it would work with Nikon cameras it did not work at all with my Nikon D80. The return was very easy, the customer service is one of the reasons I have purchased all my camera equipment from Adorama.
Excerpt: This product was terrible. Broke within the first hour of use. Don't buy this if you plan on doing event photography, or any sort of photography where you'll need it to fire multiple times in a several minute span.
