Summary: For my older eyes, the numbers and dials were a little hard to see- and had to return it was it would not work with my canon 1DX- worked fien with my canon 7D though- worked as advertised on the 7D- With the 1DX it wouldn't give the correct flash for proper exposure automatically, it woudl only do so manually, and settign he flash power way below what was indicated- it became a guessign game on the !
Summary: I had Bower Flashes before and they are great for the price unless you are a professional. This is a good one I read that someone complained that the shoe mount was not screwed into metal, that is good because if the flash is mounted on the camera and set it down someone knocks it over it can break the shoe on the top of the camera and to replace that costs more then the flash. I recommend this flash for any armature Photographer.
Summary: If you are just staring out and wanting to get used to a hot shoe flash, this product works nicely. It has decent swivel and settings. I've had it for over a year and it has had no mechanical or electrical problems. In its class, I would give 5 stars, but obviously there are much better products out there once you want to start getting more serious and spend the money.
Summary: I clearly ordered Bower SFD926C Autofocus Dedicated e-TTL I/II Power Zoom for Canon EOS 7D, 5D, 60D, 50D, Rebel T3, T3i, T2i, T1i, XS Digital SLR Cameras NOT Bower SFD728C TTL Autofocus Flash for Canon E-TTL II, I just realized that they sent me the wrong one. I even paid $90 plus dollars but the Bower SFD728C TTL flash is just for $45. Now I cant return it back because the flash was sent to my nephew in Manila.
Summary: This is a good flash for you money. You won't be able to program it to sync off cam with your camera or anything fancy for pros like that but it packs major flash. You will not have to worry about not being able to light your subjects well. The bounce and swivel features are really good to because you're going to have to bounce your flash 9 out of 10 times so you don't overexpose your subjects.
Summary: Flash is an ok flash. For the price it is exactly what you pay for. When I ordered the item there was a different photo of the flash and I thought that was the flash I was ordering. Once I received it in the mail i realized this isn't the flash I ordered. Company refused to do a refund and only an exchange.
