Excerpt: This polarizing filter works just as well as some of the much more expensive items. It threads on easily and smoothly. There is a slight amount of grittyness at certain points during rotation. Overall, great item for the money.
Excerpt: Having just returned from a trip to the Virgin Islands and where the need to a polarizing filter is almost essential, I can say that the results from this filter were very impressive considering its reasonable cost
Excerpt: I use this product primarily when filming fishing with my Sony FS100. It's extremely easy to use and tends to get the job done in terms of blocking down light. My 1 complaint is that it could use a little more variant, as it tends to block out too much light at times, but having it off will still consume too much light. But it's durable, handy, and a godsend to have on shoots.
Excerpt: I purchased this product just before attending a week long photography workshop in NH and VT. I am a neophyte photographer that never appreciated the CPL prior to the workshop, but then learned how to effectively use it. The Tiffen product performed well under different lighting conditions and is a great value. I have no negative comments - it is easy to use and light.
Excerpt: I use polarizing filters for outdoor photography to accentuate clouds and sky color. I also use them for archival photography at a small museum, to take pictures of objects on shelves to reduce reflection in the glass. I bought three different size polarizing filters, 52 mm, 55 mm, and 67 mm, for three different cameras, so my review is the same for all three filters. Also, I have always been satisfied with the quality of Tiffen filters.
Pros: Easy To Use, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Reliable
