Excerpt: I purchased this filter for my new Nikon P900 camera. This is a good quality filter. It does what it was designed to do. It protects the camera lens. It is cheaper to replace a scratched filter than it is to replace an expensive camera lens. This filter provides excellent protection.
Excerpt: When I buy a lens, I always buy a clear filter to protect the front lens element. I have found Nikon clear filters to be of high quality and to not degrade the image from the lens. I spend a lot of money on Nikon lenses, and buying a quality filter to protect the lens seems like a no-brainer.
Pros: Clear Optics, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This thing is definitely coated, at least with anti-reflective coatings, if not more. It cleans up very easily and hasn't scratched yet (after two years of use). I've now got a second one, and just like the first time, when I opened the box, I couldn't tell that there was any class element in there...
Excerpt: Great protection for your lens without degrading the image quality. The Nikon clear filters are made from the same optical glass as the lens elemnts.Beware of counterfeit NC filters from China being sold on @. Buy from B&H if you want to be sure you are getting the genuine Nikon product!
