Excerpt: Not a lot to say. Usual high Hoya quality. Does what it's supposed to do. I use it with Ilford SFX and Rollei IR film. Only problem and this is NOT the fault of design or build is that R72 filter are so dark that you have to compose & focus and then put the filter on.
Excerpt: This is probably the most fun filter I own. I can choose to make trees pink or foliage white, depending; and it's an incredibly easy process! I have to say though, it takes a bit to learn how to focus first and mount the filter second, but it's worth it! Great buy!
Pros: Firm Mount, Great effects, Strong Construction

Pros: Clear Optics, Easy To Use, Relatively inexpensive
Excerpt: You can't go wrong here. I use this with my Nikon D40 and have got some beautiful shots. Some people feel that it's just a waste of money and doesn't give you true IR. Simply stated, they're wrong.
Pros: Clear Optics, Easy To Use, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
Excerpt: After viewing some spectacular images on the internet, I purchased the R72 filter simply to play in the infrared spectrum without the high cost of sensor stripping. Pros: Clear Optics, Consistent Effect, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Bought this filter to begin playing around with IR on a Pentax K10D DSLR. The quality is very good. I can't evaluate the filters technical component just yet as I am still working out the settings to get thing right. There is lots of good info on IR photography to help you get started.
Pros: Clear Optics, Consistent Effect, Firm Mount, Good quality, Strong Construction
